It's been DAYS since I've Blogged!

OMIGOSH! So, last July I got a Wii-Fit for my birthday. I was excited because this was exactly what I needed and I was going to use it! Well, I stepped on my darling Wii this week and after he 'oooed', he said, "it's been 183 days since I've seen you!" What!?!? That's not possible is it. Alas, a computer or something like a computer, never lies.
This made me think it's probably been that long since I did the blog thing on my website. I'm beginning to surmise that blogging isn't for everyone. How do people find time to blog....even my last blog was titled, 'too busy to blog.'
Well - here I am. Once again I am privileged to be writing for our local newspaper, The Guelph Mercury as a Community Editorial Board member. I love this job! Someone writes up a schedule; tells you when your article is due and then releases me to write whatever I want. I truly thrive on deadlines and being accountable. When I'm not - it just doesn't seem to happen for me.
I'm using a tag line that includes my website address for those articles, so I thought I better do some updating on the site - hence - the blog!
Since I blogged last, we have moved - downsized actually. With the children, now almost 20 and 22 out of the house for the most part, Peter and I thought it was time to move. We moved from the south end of Guelph to the north-east side - it's like living in another city - really! So far, we love it...okay, so it's only been a couple of weeks, but it looks really promising!
Life has been crazy, busy, hectic - much too fast paced. Peter, my hubby suggested I write an editorial next month on simplifying life. Ah....even the sound of that is music to my ears. It is a lot more difficult then it sounds....not the writing, the simplifying.
So...perhaps now will be time for more consistent blogging (I hope) and I will take into consideration my husband's request.
When you downsize; get rid of the clutter; re-evaluate all the stuff you've accumulated, there is a great sense of freedom that rings long after that last box has gone off to Bibles for Missions. I think there's something to this...stay tuned!
